This title was recorded in the London Studio by the Edison Company. The National Military Band was the ‘house’ band for the National Phonograph Company, the trading name of the Edison Company in Great Britain at the time. Coronation Bells is a lively march, with clear bell effects. The title does not appear to refer to a particular coronation, at least not in Great Britain and seems to have been written speculatively, and became reprinted as sheet music and in other recorded versions in 1911, 1936 and 1953.
